Guided Walks

Everyone has different reasons for wanting a guide when in the mountains of the UK. For some, a guided walk will be their first steps into hiking and exploring the UK as a whole. For others, there is the challenge of reaching a summit which, only a few hours before, seemed so far away. There are also those that are simply unfamiliar with the area and want to see the less travelled areas, away from the busiest summits.

Regardless of your reasons, we have a walk for everyone and strive to provide experiences and memories that will stick with you for all the right reasons.

We offer a multitude of different walks, from valley level up to the highest peaks in The Lake District.

This includes Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountain, and Helvellyn, located in the heart of The Lakes.

If mountaintops aren’t your thing, there are many smaller fells and valleys that can be explored instead such as Loughrigg from Ambleside or Glencoyne along Ullswater.

The list below compiles some of our most popular walks but is not exhaustive, as we can tailor our days to you.

  • Scafell Pike (Corridor Route)
  • Helvellyn
  • Skiddaw
  • The Langdale Pikes
  • Bowfell and Crinkle Crags
  • The Fairfield Horseshoe
  • Coledale Horseshoe
  • Helm Crag via Easedale Tarn
  • Old Man of Coniston

Our rates start from £200 a day and, while we welcome under 18’s on our walks, a parent or guardian must be present for the entirety of the day. Please be aware that we work to a maximum ratio of 1:10 and are currently unable to accommodate groups larger than this.
