Aimed at those who want to learn or practice specific skills, or perhaps prefer to learn on their own or with people they know, our Private Navigation Courses are designed to be flexible to suit your needs.
We offer structured courses that are laid out in levels so that we can build new skills based on an existing foundation. Our structured courses are based around the following plans and include both a theory element followed by practical application of skills learned.
Level 1
- Introduction to map reading
- Compass use
- Basic navigation
Level 2
- Relocation
- Feature identification
- Micro-navigation
Level 3
- Poor weather/ night navigation
- Advanced relocation and slope aspect
- Advanced micro-navigation

Our rates for a private course start from £200 per day and as standard, will run from 09:00 to 17:00.
